After a sick season 2009 - getting ready for 2010!
To escape the european winter, I spent 2,5 weeks of training in December with Jared Graves at his place in Australia!!
Um dem Winter in Europa zu entfliehen, verbinge ich 2,5 Trainingswochen im Dezember bei Jared Graves in Australien!!

Oh yes, good season ending with a 2nd place in 4X at my home race in Schaldming!!

12th in DH at the worlds - small report:
I had my best race this year at the world championships in 4X!! After a good 5th place in qualification, I felt a bit more confident the track, which was almost like a bmx track. I had really awesome starts, but couldn’t become friend with the first straight. After a good first round and a second place in my semi final, I started on the third start lane in my final run. I had a good start and got third after Caroline Buchanan and Jill Kintner and in front of Melissa Buhl into the first corner. I followed the two girls in front of me on the inside line and tried to cut Melissa who went on the outside line. But unfortunately the cut wasn’t good enough and she could get my by jumping the next double. I tried to fight back in the next corners, but I couldn‘t overtake. I got 4th, which is my second best worlds result in 4X.
In DH I had a awesome qualification run, in which I had to pass the girl which started in front of me and got 6th. So I couldn’t wait to start my final run and felt pretty excited right before. But as early as the first rock garden came, I hit a stone with my front wheel and crashed. After that I was really angry and my remaining run wasn’t that good. I got 12th, which is my best worlds result in DH ever, but I’m a bit disappointed, cause the gap the a medal was rally close!!

4th at the Worldchampionchips in 4X
Yeeeaaahhh, I got 4th in the 4X Worldchampionchips in Canberra AUS. It was really close to a medal, but I'm pretty happy with tha result on such a bmx like track.
Juuuhhhuuu, ich bin 4. bei den 4X Weltmeisterschaften in Canberra AUS. Es war wirklich sehr knapp zu einer Medaille, aber ich bin echt zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis auf so eine BMX-lastigen Strecke.

2-times 11th in DH and 4X in Bromont
I’m not really happy with the WC in Bromont, even the results are not that bad.
After qualifying 11th in the DH, my final run was full of small mistakes which costs a lot of time, but got me in the hot seat. I ended but 11th just 6.5 sec behind the top 5.
Also my 4X performance was pretty mediocre. After a good first training, where I was the first women jumping the second double of the pro line (only Jil Kintner, Anneke Beerten and me ever did it) I cased the jump before the big one in my qualifying run and couldn’t jump it. So I got just 7th. And in my first race run, I crashed in the first corner in leading position and got out. No Luck for me this WC year.
